Lizzie Mombello

Lizzie is a Manager of Client Partnerships at the Stott Group, bringing a commitment to organized and thoughtful collaboration within teams and across sectors to support partners and donors at every level. 

 Before joining the Stott Group, Lizzie served as an inaugural member of The Obama Foundation’s direct response team, where she managed cross-channel fundraising campaigns in support of President and Mrs. Obama’s vision for young leaders and changemakers across the globe. Throughout her tenure, Lizzie prioritized meaningful donor stewardship, data hygiene, and empathetic communication across stakeholders, while pioneering a culture of philanthropy across a developing and unique nonprofit.

 Prior to The Obama Foundation, Lizzie supported The U.S. Soccer Federation’s Development team by spearheading member stewardship efforts, and drafting policies and practices to increase inclusion across their national development councils. Additionally, Lizzie served in an administrative capacity at the Rustandy Center of Social Sector Innovation at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business to streamline the Center’s engagement with students and the community.

 Lizzie holds a BA in Sociology, Spanish, and Gender Studies from Cornell College. Lizzie lives in Chicago with her wife and cat and spends her free time cooking her way through cookbooks and biking along Lake Michigan.

I find my purpose and joy in connecting—connecting with our clients and understanding their values and work, connecting the pieces of a puzzle to solve for a unique problem—it’s all about bringing people, empathy, and solutions together to advance incredible, mission-driven work.
