Throughout her career, Monique has dedicated herself to supporting nonprofits and social impact organizations through her expertise in marketing, communications, and development.

Before joining The Stott Group, Monique was the Content Manager at Charity Navigator, where she led the development of impactful content strategies, engaging donors and nonprofits. Her work helped enhance Charity Navigator’s mission to promote transparency and trust within the charitable sector.

Before Charity Navigator, Monique was the Director of Storytelling at 4.0, where she established the organization’s first Storytelling Department, leading marketing and communication initiatives that highlighted 4.0’s and 4.0 Alumni’s impact on education innovation across the United States. Additionally, in her earlier role as Fundraising and Storytelling Manager at 4.0, Monique successfully fundraised and managed a multimillion-dollar fundraising portfolio, contributing to the organization’s growth and sustainability.

Monique was born and raised in Louisiana and now lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She attended Louisiana State University, where she earned her B.A. in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies. In her personal time, Monique enjoys traveling the world, experimenting in the kitchen, and working on multiple craft projects.

Why I Do This Work
I’ve had the privilege of working at the crossroads of fundraising and storytelling for nonprofits and social-impact organizations for most of my career, helping change makers secure resources and amplify their impact. My passion has always been clear: I love transforming the incredible work of organizations into compelling stories that elevate their missions and inspire action. At The Stott Group, I’m excited to bring my unique experience to amplify our work and grow our reach, so we can continue connecting organizations with the resources they need to drive meaningful change in their communities.
